Mno-zhi-yaawgamig, the Pic River First Nation Health Centre, is a federally funded, community based program that focuses mainly on health promotion and prevention strategies. The mandate includes the operation, management and implementation of health programming within the community.

MISSION

Biigtigong Nishnaabeg will operate from an Anishnaabe world view to promote a prosperous community that is healthy and safe. Programs and services will be grounded in language, culture and connection to the land, honouring our link to the ancestors and future generations.

VISION

Mno-Zhi-Yaawgamig provides holistic health care in a welcoming environment that is culturally safe for everyone on their pathway to healing and wellness.
