The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is actively investigating an outbreak of COVID-19 associated with Barrick Hemlo, Williams Mine located outside of Marathon.

Biigtigong Nishnaabeg strongly recommends all residents avoid non-essential travel outside of the areas from Thunder Bay to Sault Ste Marie.

Playground Closure
Under the direction of the Emergency Response Team, effective, Monday, November 23rd, the playground located at the Elementary School and the Beaver Crescent area will be closed for the season.
