Tove Desmoulin
Family Support Worker
I was born and raised on the south coast of Norway. In 1986 I graduated as a Registered Practical Nurse and relocated to Oslo. I worked in a long-term care facility with mostly deaf patients for almost 10 years. In 1998 I graduated from the Bachelor of Social Work program at Oslo University College and started working at a Social Service Centre in inner city Oslo. In August 2002 I came over to Canada. I started to work as a Family Support Worker October 2005. At first it was temporary, but in March 2006 I was offered the position on a permanent basis. I love the Pic River community and the people here.
