Capital Housing > Eligibility Requirements
In order to qualify to receive any services offered by the Pic River First Nation Capital/Housing Program such as housing units, sanitation, water hook up and/or serviceable lots, the applicant must qualify under on of the following:
The applicant must be a registered member in accordance with the Pic River membership code, or recognized as a member of the Pic River First Nation through the Indian Act; and must by 18 years of age.
If the applicant from the First Nation is not recognized under the Indian Act but is recognized by the membership as being a member based on the ancestry of the individual then the applicant may apply;
The custodial parent or extended family member of the child or children with the Pic River First Nation membership code;
A member from another First Nation who has transferred and can provide proof thereof, in accordance with the Pic River First Nation transfer guide;
An employee of the First Nation maybe eligible to one of the rental units as a condition or incentive of their employment with the First Nation and will be required to enter into a formal rental agreement
